Dr. Seuss's Birthday

 

Today is Dr. Seuss's birthday.  When I was teaching, this was a traditional celebrated holiday with reading and writing activities.  The lunch ladies at Butterfield Canyon always made green eggs and ham on Cat in the Hat's day.  Usually, Saturday nights at our house are "breakfast for dinner."  So seeing today was Saturday I thought we would start a little family tradition and have green eggs and ham.  We are excited to share the meal with Emily next year.
