Who told Emily it was okay to grow up? My sweet Emily is 6 months. WOW! Oh how time has flown by. I am amazed at her milestones of development and adventures this month. Here a few adventures to recap.
- Emily loves to blow raspberries. She will blow them for almost an hour with few breaks in between. As if knowing she is mischievous, Emily smiles after blowing raspberries while eating. Combined with spit up, mom never has a clean shirt. It's all worth it!
- Emily loves welcoming her daddy home. She always gets excited kicking with joy seeing him return home. He is a great playmate.
- Emily is working more and more on rolling over. She does really well with rolling from her tummy to her back.
- Our "Little Mover" also loves to scoot on her bottom in a circle. She bounces and kicks herself around. We are always amazed she is facing a new direction from where we set her down.
- Emily is working on sitting up. She seems to enjoy the new perspective it affords.
- Emily is a great cooking helper. She loves watching mommy make cookies with the spinning of the beaters and shiny pans.
- Emily LOVES to be outside. We spend most of the day outside on walks, swinging at the park, or playing on the grass on a blanket.
- Emily is a GREAT eater. She loves oatmeal, pears, sweet potatoes, squash, apples, plums, and peaches. We love the way she hums while eating. It seems she is saying, "Mmmm!"
- Emily loves to play the piano and sing along.
- Emily has a contagious laugh - we love seeing her tummy tickle and ours too!
- Emily is our sweetheart!
