Outstanding Oatmeal

 

Today was an exciting day for Emily.  She celebrated a milestone by having her first bowl of "solids" - oatmeal.  Emily sits at the family table when we eat meals together.  She is quick to complain if she is on the floor playing while we are at the table.  I am glad that she likes to join us there.

It seemed Emily didn't mind the taste of the oatmeal, but I don't think she liked the time it took to be fed.  She had about 5-6 spoonfuls and then was done.  This was okay as we are just exploring with "solids" to help her get used to it.  I love watching Emily experience new things each day.  She is an adorable investigator of life.
