Lily 7 Months

Lily is a great smiley girl for mom, even behind the camera.  It was hard to choose some favorite photos for this month.  Lily is growing up - too fast!  I cannot believe she is already 7 months.  We love her to pieces and cannot remember life without her.  Here are a few magical moments of the month:

  • Lily is a mommy's girl.  She is all smiles when mom is around, but hates to see here leave the room.
  • She continues to sit up well and is getting less of a "round bum."  Lily loves to explore her toys on the floor with mom, dad, and Emily.  Although she loves to sit up, Lily also loves to lay on her back to play with her toes - one of her favorite toys.
  • Lily is enjoying the variety of foods she gets to try.  She likes sweet potatoes, fruits, and yogurt.  She can also feed herself a cracker.
  • After some stories and a song, Lily is great at putting herself to sleep once I lay her down in her crib.  We are working on finding a way for her to sleep through the night:D.
  • Emily is Lily's favorite playmate.  They love to giggle together while playing peek-a-boo.  Lily often giggles just at the way Emily plays.  Emily is getting better at sharing her toys and helping Lily.  We just have to make sure Emily is not too forceful.
  • Lily loves to play with tags on toys.  She will explore them for long periods of time.  She also loves to play with paper, but that is a rare treat as she likes to eat it too.
  • Lily LOVES to be outside.  She likes to play on a blanket, go for walks, and explore with Emily.  It is hard to get them both inside!  I don't mind right now as the weather is beautiful - not too hot or cold.
  • Lily loves bath time with her Daddy.  She is a good kicker of the water and enjoys sucking on the washcloth.
  • Raspberries and blowing bubbles are some of Lily's favorite sounds to make.  If you blow a raspberry in her face, she will return the gesture as she thinks it is a game.
We love our little Lily.  I love watching her grow, but keep hoping time would slow down a little.
