Let's Go Fly a Kite
For Easter, Nana and Grandpa gave the girls an Elsa kite. They absolutely love to fly it and are pretty good at doing it themselves. The wind is always blowing here in Herriman, so that helps to keep the kite afloat. Lily was cute to exclaim, "Wow! Look Logan! It's flying." What fun to watch them try and succeed at something new.

Best Sisters
Emily has been found saying "Best Sisters" lately in reference to her and Lily. I can hear her call to Lily, "Let's be best sisters and play Barbie's." These two girls are truly "Best Sisters" and friends. They love to play together - most of the time. Princesses, Barbie's, dolls, house, reading books, dancing, and making mischief are some of their favorite past-times. I love it when they share and find they are learning to cooperate more often than not. It is sweet to see the way Lily mimics her sister in everything. She wants to be just like Emily and follows her everywhere. I love the way the look out for each other at home and away. They have a special relationship that I know will continue to grow as time goes on. I am so happy they have each other.

Beauty and the Beast
For several months, the girls and I have been anticipating going to the new Beauty and the Beast movie. These princess loving girls have watched the trailer repeatedly and anticipating going to see it. This was their first movie to see in the theater and they absolutely loved it! At almost 2 hours long, the girls sat through it all in awe of the story they know so well and love. I loved watching them even more than the beautiful movie. The sparkle in their eyes and smiles were magical. It gave me a glimpse of what it would be like to take them to Disneyland someday. I love how real princesses seem to them. I was so glad to share the fun with my parents. They instilled the Disney fan in me, so it was fun to see the magic continue on.

Counting Backwards
Today we were learning about the letter "R." As part of the fun today, the girls put the numbers 1-10 in order and then practiced counting backwards like rockets. Emily loved trying the "new way" to count while Lily loved bouncing on the cards. They are both learning lots of new things every day.

Outside Adventures
The sunshine outside draws us there to play most of the day lately. We have had many days playing at the parks nearby. Emily is getting quite brave to climb obsta
cles and go down the "dark" tunnel slides. I love hearing her giggle and say, "Look at me mom." She is adventurous. Lily is getting braver too! She likes to try climbing big things too and riding down the side by "myself."
When we aren't park hopping, the kids love to blow bubbles, go for walks, ride their cars, and play with sidewalk chalk. they are great artists! The other day I drew Cinderella and Belle while Emily drew Moana. She had no promptings and was particular about what colors should be used. What an artist!

Fun in the Dirt
With warmer weather the kids and I have loved spending time outside. In fact on warm days we spend most of the day playing outside. One warm day we headed to GG's house to help Aunt Sissa clean up some of the flower beds. It was a peaceful morning clearing out the plants and anticipating their new growth. I could feel Grandma and Grandpa there with us, supervising of coarse. I am so glad my girls had a chance to help in the yard as it was a favorite past-time of mine, especially alongside my sister Melissa. Lily sure inherited the green thumb of the "White's." She loves to investigate things, especially outside. Lily is never too afraid to get dirty and dirty she does get!

Logan 11 Months
It is hard to believe that next month Logan will be 1 years old. He is our handsome boy and a delight in our home. It is hard to imagine when his smile wasn't there to brighten our days. Logan in learning and growing each day and shining his personality ever so much more. Here are a few highlights of the month:
- Logan LOVES to be outside. He begs to go out often and dances in delight whenever the door opens.
- When outside Logan loves to play with balls, cars, bubbles, and observe everything around him.
- Logan likes to eat pasta, applesauce, kiwis, grapes, yogurt, and popsicles.
- As soon as Logan wakes up he looks eagerly to find his sisters who then exclaim, "LOGAN!" They love him so!
- Logan loves to open and close doors, cupboards, and anything else that can be. He finds it funny to play hide-and-seek with objects in the cupboards.
- Peek-a-boo is Logan's favorite game, he even plays it with himself.
- Logan loves to snuggle in my neck to give me loves. I love the feeling of his cheek against mine.
- Logan is becoming more of a mover. He wiggles his bottom back and forth to scoot around to things he wants to explore.
- Logan can say, Mama, Dad, By, Hiya, and Mmm (milk)
